A wonderful quaint hotel. Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Great fun at bar on premises. And a fine breakfast to start the next part of our journey thru Scotland on. If ever in the area, will definitely stay again. Be sure to check out the shoreline in town . Beautiful and a great place to sit and enjoy.
We had a lovely stay at this family-run hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious enough, the bed very cozy, and the price really good value for what you get. All the staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate every guest’s needs. Breakfast was busy the morning we were there, and the staff were very upfront about it—they let us know there might be a wait and offered tea/coffee and access to the buffet table while we waited. We were in no rush, so it was totally fine. I appreciated getting lactose-free milk straight away, and when our cooked breakfast came, it was really tasty. It’s clear the team works hard to make everyone feel welcome, even under pressure. Sometimes things take a bit longer, but that’s just part of a personal, hands-on approach in a busy family-run place. We’d definitely stay again!
